Every Club Ride shirt I own, whether a sport fit or comfort fit, is size L and they all fit.
This shirt however is too small and the next size up would have sleeves that are too long. If it was the waist or stomach that was too small, I'd chalk it up to weight but those are fine, it's too tight across the chest.
Too bad b/c this is a beautiful shirt!
The fit is good. It's somewhat warm but breathable. The fabric seems rugged enough. I really like it! I wear my CR flannels everywhere not just riding. I really like them.
I was looking for a long sleeve shirt for both riding on cooler days and for casual wear, and the Maholo Flannel checked all the boxes. Great stretch and comfort, quick drying fabric, and stylish enough for apres ride hangs at the brew pub. I am 5'11"/205# and the Large fit a bit tighter than I was expecting so I decided to up a size.
Time for new flannel for the fall Moon Riding Season. I saw this Mahalo flannel in an email, and added it to my lengthy list. After a loooong debate I went with the Mahalo in Auburn. I was stunned when I put it on. Perfect arm length - that never happens, and I can still button the neck. The CoolMax shoulders are great, and are lined for those cooler days and nights. And the reflective patch on the back is super for those night jount-a-loos.
This one is so sweet, I may have to get one or two more flannels.
