M's Shaka Flannel
Born to be warm, can’t help but be cool. The Shaka is made with our moisture wicking, keep warm poly yarn to keep you toasty on the chilliest of adventures. Overheating is managed with venting under the arms and easy to fasten brushed snaps. Look cool, feel warm and stay dry. Store your media device or other goodies in the rear zipper pocket, and feel safe cruising the town after dark with reflective accents.
The Shaka flannel – it's made of polyester rather than cotton, and has mesh underarm vents to keep air moving and prevent its wearer from overheating. I'd call it a mid-weight flannel, one that would work for chilly fall rides.
Flannels are my go to in the fall. Whether I'm wearing them to commute, work, or mountain bike, they're a staple. That said, you can't just wear any ole flannel mountain biking without quickly regretting your decision. Club Ride has done a great job of making these both warm and extremely breathable.
In addition to providing excellent wicking ability, the polyester fabric also does a good job insulating on cool days. Even in the fall and winter, heat management is important for comfort, so Club Ride has built in strategic ventilated panels in the underarms. Not only that, since the jersey is a button-down, the front of the jersey is naturally ventilated between the snaps, and can easily be opened up when temperatures rise.

This thing rocks! Needed a more casual riding long sleeve for the spring and fall and this shirt nails it. If its warmer just wear it alone, if its chilly, wear a short or long sleeve under it. Had it on for 15 min and got compliments form 2 different people. Winner!
Fit is perfect! I was concerned about the flannel being too hot and not breathable, but I was wrong. Hands down my favorite shirt to ride in!
I use this shirt for chilly morning coffee outside, casual dining and hard rides in the dirt. I absolutely love it.
I bought the shirt for cool riding so I could skip the jacket or vest or arm warmers. Fit and Finnish is fabulous. The pockets on this one are “hidden” for a streamlined look. Sleeves are perfect for on the bike and they don’t ride up from being too short. Took it on a vacation as a light outerwear...perfect! For CR shirts when it says comfort fit I get an L and for sport fit I get XL. So far that sizing system has worked great for me. I don’t like tight clothes.
