Finally a chamois underwear brief without a thick pad. The Johnson has changed the chamois game with its limitless versatility. From pub crawling with your crew, to indoor spin class, to riding with Quinton at Over The Edge Hurricane in the techy area of Hurricane, Utah where you're standing more than sitting (his favorite liner), the Johnson is a perfect chamois to have in your quiver. At the Sun Valley office, we like it for our hot lap lunch rides and NICA coaching sessions.
We developed the ultra breathable fabric to be soft and comfy, wicking and quick dry so go ahead and push it to the limits of physical use.
The 1 hour ride time is a rating scale to be compared only against the other Club Ride chamois. We use it to best describe the thickness of the chamois inside the brief.

Excellent!

I’ve never written a review for any product in my life. These thin cushion shorts are excellent!
Perfect with my Brooks saddle.

Not a loaded diaper

I really like the 1 hour chamois, it provides great protection and if you go out for lunch after a ride you don’t feel like you are waking around in a diaper.

Favorite Trail: I disappointed. They are just synthetic Chinese underwear for 50$. There are synthetic Chinese underwear on Amaz

Butt crack shorts

They are short waisted. When riding on the drops they quickly become butt crack shorts. They are small I’m 5.11 180 34” usually the perfect L. For these to fit well, you need to completely buttless. They are grossly overpriced at $50 too. (Chinese Synthetic) No, I cant recommend.

I'm a fan

I have worn versions of the Johnson for years and is the only liner I wear, if I use one at all. I am in the camp of little or no chammy and never butter even for multi week tours or the longest of day rides so don't get hung up on the 1 hour rating. The quality in gearI hope for is that it should disappear and these do. So much so that on a tour I often forget that I am wearing Johnson until I get ready for bed. Unheard of in normal chammy's.
