Looking for mid-length women's chamois liner for all day use? The Montcham has changed the chamois game with its gel insert technology and 3D foam construction. From huge days of single track adventures in Fruita or Moab, to epic Gravel Adventures in Kansas, the Montcham is a perfect chamois to have in your quiver. At the Sun Valley office, we like it for the all day adventure of Osberg Ridgeline Trail back to town.
Our Design crew developed the ultra breathable RideTech mesh fabric to be soft and comfy, wicking and quick dry, so go ahead and push it to the limits of physical use.

The Level 3 is a rating scale to be compared only against the other Club Ride chamois. We use it to best describe the thickness of the chamois inside the brief. That said, the triple density chamois is female gender specific and the tech gel inserts provide the highest level of comfort in the saddle.

Chamois is so comfortable

This chamois short is perfect for under my mtb shorts. I don’t even know I have it on. It is super comfortable and there is no rubbing or chafing even though it is a thick chamois. Highly recommend!

Fit Comments: I don't know if it's just me, but the padding seems kind of wide on the inside of my upper/inner thighs/like the pad could be smaller 1/2" on both sides and seems to cause chafing. It makes me feel like I'm spreading my legs to ride a saddle, if that makes sense. But I love the fabric and I don't know why this happens.

Love these, and they cause some chafing.

Ok so I'm a big fan of Club Ride Apparel. I want to love these, the fabric is very breathable, the length is perfect, and I like the higher waist. However, the padding seems a little wide for my build. For reference, I am 5'10" and 140 lbs. I have a lean boy build. These kind of make me feel like I'm walking with a saddle between my legs, and sometimes after a 1 hour ride I have chafing. It's not from the fabric, but from the way the pad hits my inner thigh on both legs, like instead of going down my legs, it is stiff enough to make me feel like I'm riding a horse when I wear them. I've tried a small and medium, and it's the same with both. This is the all day chamois, but I will say the Level 1 is much more comfortable and doesn't give me the same chafing on my inner thighs, probably because the padding is not as stiff/thick.

A chamois for 13 cm wide sit bones perched on a road bike. This chamois is wider than the brief style chamois. The med is snug on my 53 cm thighs but not uncomfortable.

That Ain't No 8 inches

I was hesitant to order the Montcham chamois in size medium, as I've gained a few Covid lbs and am between medium and large in other clothes brands. I was mostly looking for a chamois that came down lower on my thighs than the CR Drift mediums I've been wearing the last couple years. My Drifts have been drifting up into my groins causing me discomfort, so I figured they were maybe stretched out and that new chamois were in order. I was really surprised when I opened the Montcham box - they are not nearly as long as I expected. They also were not nearly as snug as I expected. I wore them in Moab this past weekend and thought they were okay but I definitely still had to occasionally drop trou on the trail and pull them down out of my groins. So I'm a snitch disappointed, but maybe I should be disappointed with my thighs more than the chams - perhaps I've lost muscle mass due to being old as dirt.
