The Mountain Surf is a stretch woven short, so it's durable first and foremost. We designed the fabric light enough that it breathes like Neil Peart after a set of Red Barchetta. Bottom line the short works amazing for what it's intended for, which is riding bikes on amazing single track in the high country of Colorado to the flow of Brown County, Indiana. Is that not enough?  Heck no. Club Ride makes clothing For the Ride and Everything After, so jump in the Deschutes River after your ride Phils, hang by the city pool with the kids,  mow your lawn once this summer all in the Mtn Surf.
The short is all about maximum function. We accomplish this with great fit and some of the best lightweight stretch fabric on the planet, design in side zip pockets, add internal adjustments and gusset. Try our 10" inseam if you  want to show a bit more leg to all your buddies.. or you just prefer a shorter inseam than our 12" option. Did we say versatile?
Don't forget your chamois.. check out our systems on our liner page.

Very Lightweight and comfortable

Great shorts and seem well made. I like the blue color too as they're unlike any other shade I have right now. They're just on the large side for me. So I have to strap down the waist adjustments more than I'd prefer. Probably will go back down Med size.

Love these shorts

Are you sure it’s looks so good and fit perfectly. I love the new texture and light fabric. You could wear these for a shred and then close a big sale with a client right after.

Where these been my whole life?

These are perfect. The fit is just right for the street but not at all restrictive on as rowdy a trail as you’ll ever ride. Extra pockets are usually a nuisance to me but these are so well integrated I barely notice them. The one time I did use one it was plenty big enough, secure and also, amazingly, barely noticeable. I’m on a trip with two pair of these and with one more (which I’ll be ordering) I’ll have all the shorts I’ll need for any future trip on the town or trail.
