Laid back style in a midweight flannel. Subtle features like snap buttons and underarm mesh panels make this a functional shirt on and off the bike.

It also has a soft, brushed texture that’s, well, more like flannel. I’ve only gotten a few rides in with the Daniel, but so far I really like it. It offers a good combination of warmth and breathability, which is often a tough balance. I’ve found it to be best suited for temps hovering in the upper 40s to mid-50s when used with a thin merino base layer. As for packability, the men’s medium rolls up and compresses into the size of a small cantaloupe.

My style preferences trend more towards casual than performance but it’s always great when I find a piece of clothing that combines both casual aesthetics with performance features. Club Ride’s Daniel flannel does just that by pairing technical fabrics and features with a sleek, tailored flannel design.

Fit Comments: I wear shirts that are size Large but with flannels I have o size up for the longer sleeve length. This sometimes creates an issue bc the XL will be too large in the body. I find this the CR Daniel fits great sizing up both in the sleeves and the body . And no this isn’t because I put on Winter weight.

Another quality flannel from Club Ride

My first Club Ride flannel was the Shaka. I loved it so much, I ordered a second, but they were sold out. So I opted for Daniel in Auburn Red Plaid. This is a WONDERFUL flannel. It has a slightly looser fit compared to the Shaka, but sill fits wonderfully. The quality of the fabric, stitching, buttons, arm vents and all the other little hidden details... Truly a wonderful flannel! I've been riding in 25° to 35° weather and I wear a light base-layer and the combination of the two keeps my temperature not too hot and not cold: just right.

Club Ride has changed my view on functional bike clothing that works well and LOOKS GREAT on and OFF the bike! You guys rock!
