Great cool weather pants

I wear 32x34 levi’s 550’s so was undecided what size to buy so i ordered both smalls and Mediums. The smalls are like spandex on my leg and very tight except waste which was perfect. The medium fit perfect everywhere but the waste which fit what i would guess would be a 34. So i put on a belt and when for fall evening ride. Temp was 50 degrees to start and pants were really comfortable to pedal in. They got a little to warm on the hill climb and i built up some sweat. I stopped and had a beer and the temp dropped 10 degrees and i was concerned the pants would be wet and cold, Not the case! Pants were even better at 40 degrees and no lingering wetness.
I dont know how to rate the size since pants fit good except waste but mediums are supposed to be 33-34 so i cant complain. A small would fit the waste but way to tight in the leg.
So i added the Arvand belt and hope that fixs that.

Awesome bike pants

Wore it for the first time on my ride, it was cold 40F and felt nice and warm. I got a medium (5'8" 170lbs) and it fits great, a little snug on the thighs but very stretchy and comfortable overall.

Perfect

Love the way they fit! Low rise waist, comfortable, pockets, and narrow ankle to avoid the chain. Can’t ask for more.

Best Long Bike Pants EVER!

In Western Colorado a cloudy, breezy 50deg day is much cooler than a sunny 50deg day! My usual cool weather riding pants are a 20 year old pair of multi-sport tights that have seen better days. They are either too warn or don't provide enough insulation.
My first outing with the Fat Jack pants was on a cool, breezy day and I could not have been more impressed! Temperature and moisture management were amazing!
The fit & finish was spot on and the comfort was truly surprising. I did expect some discomfort in the groinal department where many seams are joined but the CR designers have worked in a feature that relieves any pressure in the sensitive area. I wear 2 hr. liners on all of my rides.
I did wear (and will continue to do so) a Velcro strap on my drive side cuff to keep the pants free of drivetrain goop.
I know, kind of OCD, but I will wear these pants to work at the bike shop (Over The Edge in Fruita) and I do take some pride in my appearance!
Thanks to the designers at CR for another fine product.
