First of all really like/luv the pants. They are perfect for riding in the winter. The tapered legs are great for not having to roll up a pant leg to keep it out of the chainring. The only issue I have is that seam work is less than desirable, which is a big issue for pants that are made for durability and the fact they cost as much a designer jeans (well maybe not for women but men don't spend shit on jeans so $80-$90 is more than enuff). The seams are coming out at the seat and the crotch sections, crucial spots that receive lots of movement. Club Ride please put more QA/QC into the seam work. Crack the whip at the old sweatshop. :)
Tried these out in 24°F and they worked very well for cross country MTB. Nice alternative to long tights. Would give these a 5 except for a couple shortcomings. The 33 in-seam is an inch or two too long for a small. I'm 5'10" 150 with 31 in waist. They fit but are snug. That's what I wanted as I didn't want to use a belt which is necessary if loose fitting.
Super high quality and fit perfect. I’m exactly 6’ tall and weigh 200 lbs, normally wear a size 34 / 32 in most jean brands (sometimes 33 waist) and size Large worked perfect. Would prefer the back pockets to be a little larger, that’s my only minor complaint.
I have tried a suite of different pants for fatbiking. Some are too hot, some allow too much wind through, fit too loose (particularly in the crotch so they get hung up on the saddle, or in the ankle so you get them stuck in the chain. These pants have none of these problems. They are also priced very well! I highly recommend them. If you ride in very cold weather (say below 10 degrees Fahrenheit) you can ware thermals under them. This is a big help rather than having heavy weight pants that overheat you at warmer (and by warmer, I'm still talking below freezing) temperatures.
Large are perfect for 5 10 170 pound 34 waist rider. Ideal cut, material weight, stretch. Great to wear over summer short bibs for T 35 to 50F or over medium-heavy bibs for down to 0. Added some ski suspenders with loose waist, perfect for long rides on gravel or fatbike. Also put some d30 661 padded knees and shorts under for sketchy ice rides, excellent Breathable, but cut wind nicely, haven't needed to use side vent zips yet. Highly recommend.
