Born from the conviction that cycling apparel can be both technical and stylish, Club Ride is a Sun Valley, Idaho-based brand that makes technical apparel that can be worn on- and off the bike.
From flannel button-ups to high performing jeans, Club Ride’s range is perfectly at home on your local singletrack as it is at your favourite watering hole.
Understated in the best sense of the word, their women’s range features some interesting products like chamois-lined undies, transit pants and henleys to make you an almost undercover cyclist when wearing them.
The “Wheel Cute” tee reviewed here is perhaps their most ‘obvious’ bike-y item but even so, it says “hey, I like bikes” in a cute way instead of screaming “LOOK AT ME, I’M A CYCLIST”
At first glance, it looks like a casual, lightweight top appropriate for summer barbecues and grabbing post-ride drinks on a patio. But, as with the rest of the Club Ride line, there is more than meets the eye.
The soft yet technical fabric is highly breathable, wicking and quick drying. It also features a UPF 20 UV protection and reflective accents. The sport cut is feminine and form-fitting and sports hemmed sides.
What all this means is that this lightweight top is ready for any leisurely or active activity the day may hold.
Why we like it:
Cute yet functional, this is a soft and comfortable top is versatile and one that’s just as suitable for commuting and leisurely rides as it is for drinks with friends.
