Q: Where are you from?

I was raised in Salt Lake City Utah, but have lived in Southern Utah since 2017.

Questions

What's your favorite local trail?

Gooseberry Mesa’s Hidden Canyon

MTB Project Route

How long have you been biking?

Since August 2018

How Did you get into biking?

My parents moved to Flagstaff Arizona, and I spent a summer there
where I didn't know anybody and I didn't know what to do, so I tuned
up the hardtail I rode as a kid and explored around the forest next to
their house. With time, it became more and more enjoyable and I ended
up taking that old hardtail back to Utah with me for my sophomore year
of college.

Are you involved in any biking programs or organizations? If so, which ones and how?

I represent Ibis Cycles as an ambassador, I create unique content
(photo and video) and race their bikes as fast as I can. I also
adventure lots and love to capture where their bikes and I go.

I used to coach NICA at Crimson Cliffs Highschool, back in 2021

I am very involved with the local cycling community as one of the key
players at OTE Hurricane

I have a YouTube channel “Pierce’s POV” where I post some of my
prouder and more memorable moments on a bike.

What's your favorite local spot for a beer and bite?

River Rock Roasting Company is the post-ride go to hang out spot for
all things beer, coffee, pizza, burgers and sandwiches. I feel like
that restaurant is the restaurant equivalent to our bikeshop in vibe,
culture and presentation.

Where is your favorite place to bike?

Aside from the place I call home, I am in love with the terrain in
Gunnison, Colorado, and Sedona, Arizona.

What're your favorite Club Ride Apparel pieces

Mens Detour Spicy Cayenne Shirt, it's so versatile and never smells
bad. It matches the color of my Ibis Exie USA race bike and is so
comfortable. If I am riding in it, the design and fit almost reminds
me to focus on fun more, and party pace it more than I would in full
lycra.

Womens Joyride Cherry Tomato riding pants - this one is pretty funny
given it's a womens pant, but I love the way they hold my knee pads in
place and fit tight to my legs. Plus, when I ride with my friends who
are girls I can show off the benefits of the badass joyride pants.

Daniel Flannel - there's something about pouring a cup of espresso on
a cold morning here at the shop while wearing my daniel flannels. It
makes me feel like I just had a good nights rest next to a campfire,
and that the outdoors is calling my name. Maybe my subconscious thinks
I am a lumberjack when I wear it. I also love the durability of the
fabric. I rode down King Kong in my Daniel Blue Flannel and felt well
protected from abrasions.

What else do you like to do?

I enjoy showing off my creative side via videography and photography.
I also enjoy doing product design for things we can sell here at the
shop.

I enjoy recovery time at home where I get to hang out with my orange
and white cat tom.

I am very into the outdoors, so backpacking, bike packing and day
hikes recharge my soul
