At Club Ride, the best days on the bike come with good company, a little grit, and somewhere new to explore. Amber has all three. What started as a first-ever triathlon turned into a lasting love of gravel — and these days you'll find her spinning through Lowcountry marshland and back roads. We caught up with her on favorite trails, post-ride tacos, and the gear she keeps coming back to.

The Interview

Q.

Where are you from?

I'm from Burlington, VT, but I currently live in Summerville, SC.

Q.

How long have you been biking?

About 8 years.

Q.

How did you get into biking?

A friend convinced me to sign up for a triathlon, even though I had zero experience riding a bike as an adult. It started off pretty comical, but I quickly grew into a strong rider. My husband eventually introduced me to gravel riding, and I haven't looked back since.
