This is not your average flannel. Made for riding when the temps drop, the Griffin is perfect for chilly fall rides in the Sawtooths to cool spring days in Utah. A front-side wind-resistant layer and a breathable back panel give this rugged jacket the breathability, warmth, and performance you need on colder rides and still comes with the way above average look, fit, and feel you expect from Club Ride.

Griffin Flannel Shirt/Jacket

When ordered, I was taking a chance not knowing if it would fit like I wanted it to, but the price I got it for made it worth the gamble. When it showed up on my porch, I tried it on right away and breathed an sigh of relief. It fit perfectly, and looked good, like every other item I've gotten from CR. Thanks.

Great flannel!

Incredibly soft, kept me pretty warm on a cold ride to work yesterday. Material feels high quality, too. I'm looking forward to some fun rides in it!

Excellent cold weather layer.

This is a great final layer for a cold day. Great for the days when the a flannel shirt is not enough for the cold. Still lightweight and not bulky.

This is a great Fall shirt

This shirt has a really cool feel. More like a lightweight long sleeve shirt but with a liner layer for warmth. Different feel than the CR extra thick flannels (which I also like). I find gat I am throwing over at shirt and wearing all winter.

Awesome shirt for cool weather

I’m 6’1 and ~178ish lbs and couldn’t figure out which size would be best, so I got a M and L and was planning to return the one that didn’t fit right. Both fit perfectly, with the M fitting more like a slim fit shirt, but still comfy, and the L being slightly bigger but still fitting really well, not too wide or bulky. Tough decision but ended up going with the M and giving the L to a friend since it’s such an awesome shirt, I had to share the love and couldn’t just return it. Rode around Chicago yesterday on a 40ish degree day with a chilly breeze, and couldn’t feel the wind at all. Hung out indoors the rest of the day and wasn't too warm. Great all around shirt.

Finally something fits

At 6’4” 245 most cycling gear just doesn’t fit. Not only is the 2xl a perfect fit. The Jacket really helps with deflecting cold air in front and really breaths in the back. the answer to late fall /winter riding.

Absent Customer Service

I have never received this shipment. When I reached out to customer service they said it was my responsibility to track it down. I have had very different experiences with companies like REI and Pearl iZumi in similar situations. My hope is that Club Ride will help me get thia resolved, but I am losing confidence. UPDATE: Very shortly after posting this review I heard from Mike at Club Ride. He indicated they will be dealing with USPS rather then me and will get me my items. Was glad to hear from him and look forward to a complete resolution of this issue. I will update this review again, when this has hopefully been resolved. SECOND UPDATE: This was resolved. I appreciate Club Ride correcting initial issues in handling this issue and thank them for listening and responding.

Perfect!

The Men's Griffin Flannel 2-Layer Shacket is a perfect choice for cold mornings and chilly nights. The dual-layer design provides excellent warmth without feeling overly bulky, making it versatile for layering or wearing on its own. The flannel exterior adds a classic, stylish touch, while the inner lining keeps the cold at bay.

Family pics

Wife liked it so much she had me wear it for family pics. I like it so much I wear it all fall and winter. Paired with a lightweight insulating layer underneath I use this all winter in below freezing temps for fat biking.

Griffin for the shoulder season

Great addition to the collection. More of a shirt side of shacket but heavy enough for those in between season temps. Looks great like all club ride threads but has the additional material and stitching which make it seem a lot more substantial other offerings. try it, you'll like it!

Awesome Jacket Shirt!

The Griffin, along with my Club Ride Fat Jack pants have become my go to winter apparel for fat biking, skate skiing, skating, sledding... you get the picture. The shirt is large enough to afford all sorts of layering options to adjust for varying winter temperatures and we have had an insane range of temperatures here in Vermont this winter. Whatever the temperature, I am able to dial in the perfect combination with my Griffin!
