I've done a bunch of 2plus hr rides and so far, really digging these. Super comfy. I have a 31 in waist but ordered a medium and they feel perfect. Your mileage may vary.
Most liner shorts come with a so-so chamois. Not the Woodchuck shorts, which have a super comfortable and dense pad that is a perfect thickness for long rides. The leg length is a little longer than most liner shorts, but that means that the legs will never ride up. This is my go-to liner short (worn under thermal bib tights) for winter roads rides, as well as for long mountain bike rides worn with my Club Ride Chachi shorts. The fabric breathes well, and feels good on the skin.
Awesome! No more chafing. VERY comfortable.
This is my favorite bib-less liner. I love the fabric but the real important piece is the chamois. If saddle comfort is an issue for you, this is the best chamois I've found in this price range and I've tried many.
The perfect balance of performance, comfort, quality, and price. I can't see a reason to spend more money on a liner short when these are more than adequate for long rides. Chamois provides the right amount of cushion, fabric breathes well. legs are a good length, waist band is comfortable, and doesn't creep up or down. They're also fairly comfortable when walking or hanging out off the bike post ride.
