The versatility made them a go-to pick for me for traveling and bikepacking trips. I could wear the shorts on the bike, but then wear them to dinner as well.Femme Cyclist
I have owned a pair of eden shorts for three seasons now. They are fantastic - comfortable, quick to dry, and less encumbering for me than the much more common long inseam mtb shorts. The bottom of these shorts hit right where my knee pads start-so no coverage is lost going with a 7"inseam. They have ample pockets as well (large enough to fit my Samsung galaxy with otterbox cover comfortably). They have internal velcro tabs for an adjustable fit. I have the 2019 model, and found they fit slightly small (I have a 25" waist and 33" hips for reference). But not tight enough to be uncomfortable or limit my ability to be dynamic on the bike (and I wear chamois underneath).
Not sure if sizing has changed since, but something to take note of if you'd prefer a little more room.
They are also very flattering - you can hit the trails and go out after without needing to change. Mine have washed very well and still look brand new, despite my wearing them over three seasons of mtbing 2-3 times a week. They also held up well on my recent OTB crash, where I landed on the only gravelly section of a downhill trail lol.
I highly recommend for the shorter lady shredders out there or to anyone who wants a little less length in their shorts without sacrificing coverage.
I really enjoy the quality of these shorts as well as the color. I originally purchased a small but they ended up being skin tight. Exchanged for a medium and they are baggy on me even if I tighten the velcro on the sides.
I returned these just because they were blousier than I imagined. But as always they were great quality and stylish I ordered another style from Club Ride to replace them.
These shorts are a great fit. They breath well in 90deg plus temperatures. The chamois underneath is a great length, so much better than the older style! Thank you for listening to customer feedback and implementing our ideas!
I'm new to mountain biking and was soooo put off by the super long inseams of other mountain bike shorts. Literally couldn't find anything with a shorter inseam. Thankfully these showed up on the Google and I was pumped. I bought them because they were the only 7" inseam on the globe...but I'm so pleased with them that I'll definitely be buying more (can we get a plain black pair, please?).
I'm super short. My legs are also super short, even for my height. I'm stocky, bigger thighs and butt — but these fit me perfectly!
- NO crack attack while riding
- I didn't feel constricted (I hate that feeling)
- I didn't feel like I was going to burst any seams
- my crotch wasn't in pain after a full day of riding (yay for the padded liner — although I did just upgrade to a women's saddle, so that contributed to my improved comfort as well)
- made of quality fabric (both the shorts & liner felt nice to the touch, were breathable, comfortable)
- didn't get snagged up on anything (on my bike or the trail) due to excess fabric or bunching
- honestly didn't realize there was a handy zippered pocket until I was needing it on the trail yesterday (yay)
- would love to see these shorts in more solid color options
