My son gave me a shirt from CR and finally got a chance to use it - really impressed with how comfortable I was after the ride so I bought a pair of shorts to go with the shirt. Very well made and fit like a glove - will be getting another pair soon.
Awesome shorts. Only niggle I have is the length. At 5"10 I have longer legs than most and was hoping these would cover my knee caps standing. They land a couple inches short. I ride with Dakine Slayer knee pads and while climbing I have some skin exposed between the pad and the short. Not a deal breaker but not preferred either. Otherwise great short.
Thanks for your review and I'm in the same boat! I wear the Hifi with knee pads as it's our longest short at 13' and doesn't have the dreaded 'gaper gap' between knee pads and shorts.
These are my go to shorts for everything from Golf to Biking.
I love the design normally I wearing size small but I try medium and fits perfect to me. I recommended these product.
Well, I put them on and my wife said I looked "really cute." I think I heard the term "DILF" uttered, so I'll take it.
Similar to my review of the Gunslinger, I'd say these can best be summed up by the fact that despite my normal habit of taking my riding gear off after my after-work rides, I forgot to do so in these and 2 hours of playing with my kids later I realized I was still wearing them.
Also similar to my review of the Gunslinger, my only complaint is that they seem to have a "low rise" fit. There isn't enough room in the crotch to pull these up high enough so that I don't get a bit of plumber's crack when bending over. However, I won't knock them a star because I love the look.
I'm a bit concerned about how they will hold up since they seem so thin, but I'm hopeful they'll withstand the branches and rocks here in Santa Cruz.
