Casual approach to technical cycling clothing is perfect for hard rides followed by drinks at a bar, burritos at a taqueria, or swapping post-ride stories at the local bike shop.
The fit was comfortable and didn’t pull awkwardly while pedaling because of the small amount of stretch from the Spandex.
The Club Ride Savvy short might just be the most comfortable mountain bike short I’ve ever tried on. The fabric is lightweight and the cut is loose. On the trail, I almost forgot I was wearing shorts.
The shape of the hem is a nice touch, setting them apart from other shorts on the market. It’s a subtle detail that I think gives them a more relaxed vibe than just your standard straight edge pant leg. With an 11” inseam, these shorts land right above the knee cap and have plenty of room to fit knee pads.
The Savvy short is unlike any other mountain bike shorts we’ve tested, they are incredibly lightweight, thin, and stretchy making them ideal for those hot summer days. The drawstring helps you dial in the fit around the waist while the 11” inseam gives good coverage on the bike.
I really liked older Club Ride short that I got few years back. This one is very similar to that pattern fit.
I can wear it all around year, and comfy.
Love these shorts and have 3 other pairs in size large from the past 2 years, that all fit great.
Wouldn't cycle without them. Unfortunately the large did not fit as expected.
It's snowing now, so maybe I'll try again in the Spring!
Another quality product from Club Ride. It's really hot and humid where I live and I finally found a durable, lightweight pair of shorts. Very good fit, good pockets, nice cut! Was a little worried about the shoe lace cinching system but fortunately I don't need to use it. Good pockets besides the zippered pocket. I still prefer my phone in my Bandara shirt pocket as the position on the shorts may still be a place that I could fall when on MTB trails. I already used it multiple times for trail riding... but I think I will be wearing these everywhere! Definitely will be buying more! I do not wear liners underneath my MTB shorts
I purchased women’s shorts. I’m 5’10. Approximately 175 lbs. usually a large fits well but these were too small. I exchanged for an XL which was way to big. Not a great fit but both the exchange and return process was super easy. I really appreciated the great customer service. My daughter who is 5’7 and 130 ordered a pair of shorts which she felt were snug but she is going to keep them. Overall, generally happy.
I love these shorts! Great lightweight but durable fabric. The cut is great for my mountain biker and skier legs. I just wish they came in more colors/prints!
