Great design and fit

Snug but comfortable fit. Not quite a roadie's spandex short but not a baggy freeride short either. The stretch fabric make them work. The zippered thigh pockets are great.

Interesting design

Overall a comfortable short. They kind of remind me of a pair of Haggar slacks that have been made into shorts. The Velcro adjustment on the inside is a pain when not wearing a padded liner. It feels like there is an oak leaf stuck on both sides of the waist band. I’m constantly adjusting them to avoid the Velcro. As with the pants and other pair of shorts I have from club ride the zipper is a bit finicky, potentially the weak link. Only time will tell. The hi/fi shorts are much better all around.

Loose in the waist

The legs are more fit than loose but they feel good and it keeps them from getting caught while riding. The waist is a bit loose though, even with them adjusted as tight as they go but they have belt loops so I can keep them up with a belt. Pockets are toward the front so you won't loose anything when riding though they're a little awkward to get into. Overall I'm satisfied.
