Good for chill rides and bar hopping!
I am tired of lycra and I needed something different. These shorts are different. Super comfortable and move with you very well. I have started wearing them even when I am not riding.
These shorts are awesome with the perfect amount of stretch for maximum comfort. The shape is great on and off the bike. I like the casual look of these. Thanks CR for making great products!
I've beaten the ever-loving crap out of these things over the course of a season. These are my go-to riding shorts on every single ride- no matter the conditions. I've stained them with grease, snagged them on trees, bailed onto rocks, etc. and they've held up remarkably well. They show some signs of abuse, but nothing like a normal pair of shorts would. I also like that I'm able to wear these shorts to work due to their khaki-esque look then hit the trails immediately when I'm off. The pockets are great for small tools, wallet, phone, whatever, and the snap pocket fits a lift pass perfectly. I'd recommend these in a heartbeat.
The Joe Dirt is my all time favorite non-riding short. I have all three colors and wear them to work regularly. The soft and slightly stretchy fabric makes them a very comfortable short. I love the tapered leg opening and side cellphone pocket. I always use the side pocket for carrying my phone. I don't ride with these shorts, but rather I wear them to work and for general non-sports purposes. I'm 5'7", 155 lbs and I wear the small size comfortably. I'd love to get a 4th in a navy blue color... should that color ever become available. Keep up the great work pumping out stylish and functional active wear, Club Ride!
