This is not your average flannel. Made for riding when the temps drop, the Griffin is perfect for chilly fall rides in the Sawtooths to cool spring days in Utah. The Griffin is made with a heavy-duty 2-layer fabric that's warm, rugged, and will keep you comfortable all ride long. A front-side wind-resistant layer and a breathable back panel give this rugged shirt the breathability, warmth, and performance you need on colder rides and still comes with the way above average look, fit, and feel you expect from Club Ride.

An Excellent Flannel for Colder Weather

This is an excellent flannel for cold weather. I rode today, ~45 degrees with a compression shirt and and a long sleeve Cold Gear shirt and I was nice and warm. I think this combo would be good down to ~35. The shirt is well constructed and I like the placement of the pocket. Like all the Club Ride gear I own, very good quality and the products are excellent for the price. Keep making the XXL Comfort size for us Clydes.

My New Default Winter Riding Shirt/Jacket

Really like my new flannel shirt/jacket. Works great against the wind and cold. Ridden in it five times, in temps down to 12 degrees F, and it kept me warm (as long as I kept moving).

Great Looking Thicker Flannel

This is a super high quality great looking flannel. It would have to be really cold out here in SoCal to wear as it’s a pretty heavy piece. It has a dual layer which adds to the ventilation and wicking. The quality of this piece is outstanding and is really good looking.

Warm Shirt - Perfect for Cold/Cool Weather

This shirt is surprisingly warm. Started off at 30 degrees with snow flurries and just the M's Griffin Flannel and a good base layer. Aided by 4 miles of mixed technical climbing the flannel was more than warm. I could have easily used a much lighter base. On the ridgeline and at various overlook stops along the way, never felt cold. I wear a 46 coat and often have to use XXL sizing in cycling apparel, but I found this fit to be near perfect. Plenty of room for movement, never thought once about this kit as I bombed down some technical runs. Sleeve length was nice, even with pack on, my arms were never exposed. If you are looking for a great outer layer for cold weather, this may be your ticket. Plus, it works just as good in casual situations off the bike.
