For hiking and generally kicking around town, the Club Ride HiFi has been pulled from the suitcase very often. It rides on the body just as well while walking down the trail as it does pedaling up a mountain.
Overall, I’m very pleased with the Hifi shorts. Despite their substantive nature, I neither felt too hot during rides in cooked canyons, nor too chilly in morning mist and fog. They strike that balance of slim enough and just the right length while having comfort that doesn’t flap.

Really like these shorts, they appear to be very good quality and have become my "go-to". Enough that I bought a second pair for this year. The pockets are well thought out and the length is just perfect for me (I'm tall, it's tough to find something that doesn't give me a gaper gap between knee pads).
I’ve only worn them twice, but I have managed to have a pretty good spill in them. they are comfortable and durable. (Held up with no noticeable damage after wiping out on pavement.
I just got these shorts a couple of weeks ago and have 4 or 5 rides in them. They are very comfortable and have the right number and size of pockets. My new favorites.
5/5 stars for fit, looks, durability, and riding functionality.
They've survived rough crashes unscathed, unlike my skin. The zip pockets hold ride essentials in a neutral body position that doesn't feel like they are swinging around with every pedal stroke. The gusseted crotch allows all the free movement I need without getting caught up on the saddle when riding / jumping / dropping. The velcro adjustable waist straps are secure and convenient for wearing a little tighter on the trail, then a little looser for post ride beers. Or just set and forget.
These are my new favorite riding shorts.
