M's Fat Jack Pant
Technical and robust, our Fat Jack pant was designed for the epic fat-bike ride on miles of winter single track. Don’t have snow? Don’t fret, the Fat Jack performs in dirt and on pavement just as well. Our stretch, water resistant double weave fabric with durable canvas leg patches deliver the workman’s pant in a technical package. Reflective accents add night time security. The side leg pockets store all of your goodies securely behind a reflective bound zipper or open them up for full upper leg ventilation.
Bottom line, the Fat Jack did exactly what I was hoping it would: provide a warm, tough, water resistant external layer for fat biking expeditions. But as a bonus, with the level of insulation that this pant provides, I could easily see using it in both spring and fall weather as well, simply by dropping the thermal liner that I used beneath it for winter fat biking.
I love these pants and have a pair in each of three colors. The fit is excellent. Not loose, great stretch. I can wear them with knee pads under (IXS Trigger). I can wear them when it's just a bit too chilly for shorts and I can wear them over thermal tights down to 0F. I love the phone pocket on the back of the lower thigh but that is the one place where I am starting to see them shred. A reinforce cover over these pockets might be a great addition to the next iteration of these pants. I'd love to be a tester.
These work very well on the bike. they are comfortable and no issues with pant legs and a 1X drivetrain. True to size and comfortable. even in warmer temps.
The design, materials and construction are first rate. Great for riding in the fall, winter with a layer and awesome for casual wear
Ive only been out on a couple rides with them so far, but hey seem perfect by them selves down to the upper 30s. Base layer would fit under them nicely.
Seem durable and I barely noticed them on a technical ride.
I initially ordered a Med based on the 32 waist size but ended up returning for a Lrg as the legs were a bit tight.
Return was processed timely and without any issue, printed a label, shipped it back and as soon as I shipped, they sent the replacement.
I love the quality and fit. Getting on and off the saddle repeatedly with no fabric snagging due to proper design is a breeze. I haven’t gone for a ride straight to a restaurant for a lunch but I could with these pants. #nolimits!
