Comfortable

I've worn this belt while cycling and daily wear. This is my first stretch belt and I am surprised at how well it works and the comfort. I usually wear a leather belt that does not stretch and apparently had gotten used to how it restricted my movements. This belt keeps my pants/shorts up while active and in the office. It also does not restrict my movement. One downside is that I sometimes have trouble buckling it because it has to be lined up just right to click. Probably just take some getting used to. The other issue is that the buckle is a little wider than my usual belt and I have a hard time getting it through some of my pants/shorts belt loops. I've seen another review about the split design being hard to get through loops. I had this same issue the first couple of times I used the belt, then I realized I was routing the wrong end through the belt loops. Use the "un-forked" side and it routes pretty easily, as long as the belt loops are wide enough.

Not A Belt Guy

So, I'm not a belt kinda guy, especially with shorts. Well, this "belt" is perfect. Lightweight, adjustable & well, is it a belt or is it?

No better belt out there

This is my second Arcade belt, the first is 4ish years old and still going strong but just looking for some more colors. Simple, light, but functional it's great for biking and as an everyday belt. Only limit I've found for it is heavy backpack waist belts. On a 10 day backpack this summer my 45lb pack hip belt pushed the belt down. I ended up pulling my pants up above the waist strap to compensate. Not sure if there is really a solution out there as a heavier belt would dig into your hip bones under a heavy pack hip belt.

Arcade belt

Sorry I can't leave the same rave review as I just did for the Gunslinger Chamois. This belt has a decent amount of stretch and support. However, the buckle is poorly made and I feel it will eventually break. The buckle gets caught up on belt loops due to the split design and when you do get it fully "routed", the two halves of the buckle don't easily align to clip together. Also, I'm finding that this belt is too wide to wear with the Mattock shorts...it's not even close.

Hi Scott,

Thanks for the review and sorry to hear about your concerns. The Arcade belt is a quality product, personally I'm on my 5th year with the same Arcade belt and wearing it daily with no end in sight. Also Arcade stands behind their products with their own warranty:

'Any manufacturer defect will be covered. This includes failures in stitching and buckles!'

Here is their warranty form if you ever need to create a claim: https://arcadebelts.com/pages/warranty

And finally I'll pass your Rambler belt loop comments on to the design team to review.

Thanks,

Daniel
