This is not your average flannel. Made for riding when the temps drop, the Griffin is perfect for chilly fall rides in the Sawtooths to cool spring days in Utah. The Griffin is made with a heavy-duty 2-layer fabric that's warm, rugged, and will keep you comfortable all ride long. A front-side wind-resistant layer and a breathable back panel give this rugged shirt the breathability, warmth, and performance you need on colder rides and still comes with the way above average look, fit, and feel you expect from Club Ride.

Doubled up

I bought a Griffin Size L last year for cold weather riding and was very happy with it. It’s a little big for me at 5’11” 180 but that was fine as I can layer underneath it. The wind block in chest works well and on days in the low 30’s I’ll add a wind vest, either under or over. This season I bought a Size M to wear over a single layer on cool days, especially if it’s going to warm up. Working great as we transition to Spring here in the Mid-Atlantic.

So far, so...great!

Received my Griffin flannel last week in hopes of getting out there to ride in the cooler weather. It's been too cold and snowy for that but I wore it as an extra layer for skiing and to work one day and got compliments both days. Fit is great and it's just the right amount of warmth for chilly days. I'm confident I'll love it for riding too but so far, it's nice to know that I can use it for more than just riding!
(note: the sizing chart had me between a Medium and Large. I sized up to allow for a layer below and I'm glad I went that route.

Impressive Build, Design and Fit

I own two ultra lightweight CR shirts and wanted to try something heavier for cool weather wear. Purchased this flannel on sale and am honestly blown away by the quality, fit and design. Stitching is uniform and doubled up where it counts. Snaps and high stress areas are reinforced with webbing. Cuffs and collar are lined with a soft fabric for extra comfort. The outer fabric has a very nice hand and just the right amount of stretch. I appreciate the front windproof layer and back mesh lining - the shirt proved itself on a recent riding trip to Montana de Oro here in California. It was the perfect insulating and wind blocking layer for rides on windy bluffs overlooking the Pacific. As for the design, I like that the shirt doesn’t scream “technical.” I can see wearing this one out and about for dog walks and other casual activities.

Awesome Shirt

This shirt is awesome and immediately one of my favorites. It's got a bit of a liner, so there's some warmth. Fit is perfect. I'm 5'11", 160lbs and medium is perfect.
