Cotton on the bike? You better believe it, especially when it's specifically woven with super techy  spandex yarns. We took the world's best fabric of cotton and made it better. The Joe Dirt is packed with function with perfect stretch in the right places, gusset for fit and pedaling efficiency, storage pockets and inseam length options.

Around the trails of Sun Valley when there's trail work days, we see plenty of Joe Dirt's with rakes and Pulaski's making the good things of single track better. If pub work is more your speed, the short holds up perfectly to the rigors of the bar stool equal to that of the saddle. Whatever your pleasure, from pump tracks to pump stations, the Joe Dirt is your every man's short suited to battle the rigors of the Ride and Everything After.

Don't forget to check out our chamois systems!

Comfortable shorts

At first I thought these might be a little too snug, but they've seemed to have loosened up a bit as I wear them. I have bigger thighs, so they're a little snug for me there, but overall very slim fitting and comfortable. I normally wear a 35/36 waist and these seem to be spot on there. Plus there is Velcro waist adjustments if the waist is slightly too loose for some. A little higher above the knee than I expected for a 12" outseam.

Great riding shorts

I exchanged from a large to medium and happy I did. I’m typically a 32-33 waist and tried the large. They were more for a 34-36 waist so sizing down was perfect. For reference I’m 6’ tall and weigh around 175 lbs. The material is lightweight and mildly stretchy. I’ve already put these bad boys to the test and they’ve held up well. The material does stretch over time so having the internal belt adjustment is a nice feature. I will also wear these for casual wear too they’re that great.

Great shorts!

Great shorts and the 10" version are perfect for shorter people. Have the black & blue, just wish they had a khaki / brown as well.

Club Ride is my wardrobe

Just bought my 3rd and 4th pair of shorts. They are my favorites. The cell phone pocket works well. The material is durable and flexible.

Joe Dirt Short

I’ve have 6 pair of these shorts in both 10” and 12” . Being height challenged I prefer the 10” version.
I bought my first pair on a whim 5 years ago because they were on sale. They quickly became my go to short and that same short is still in rotation today.
Living in Colorado, the weight is perfect for year round use, both on and off the bike.
