M's Fat Jack Pant
Technical and robust, our Fat Jack pant was designed for the epic fat-bike ride on miles of winter single track. Don’t have snow? Don’t fret, the Fat Jack performs in dirt and on pavement just as well. Our stretch, water resistant double weave fabric with durable canvas leg patches deliver the workman’s pant in a technical package. Reflective accents add night time security. The side leg pockets store all of your goodies securely behind a reflective bound zipper or open them up for full upper leg ventilation.
Bottom line, the Fat Jack did exactly what I was hoping it would: provide a warm, tough, water resistant external layer for fat biking expeditions. But as a bonus, with the level of insulation that this pant provides, I could easily see using it in both spring and fall weather as well, simply by dropping the thermal liner that I used beneath it for winter fat biking.
I recently bought a pair of FatJack pants. The fit is perfect and the material is light. In addition to the front pockets I really like having the two side zippered pockets. The zippered back pocket keeps things secure. There is added protection on the thighs and the inner portion of the lower pant leg. My only complaint is that they only come in three colors.
Fit well, comfortable, good range of motion, and look like they will wear like iron!
Well made, and comfortable. They are doing the job.
I am just under 5'10", 155lbs with 32-33" inseam. I got the M/33 and the pants fit perfectly. This is my first Club Ride purchase and I have to say, I almost bought another pair just for casual wear (I got this pair for mountain biking). The only negative is that there is no waist adjustment band and you'd need a belt. I really would not want to wear a belt biking, but I think maybe there some lightweight belts that maybe I can get. That said, I really like how the pants fit, sit and feel. I can't speak to long term quality, as I just got them, but I am hoping they last and wear well.
