These are some seriously baggy jeans. Since I don’t have Schwarzenegger-like thighs, I have quite a bit of freedom of room in the thighs and seat. Also, the flare — after about six inches were lopped off — are too wide to roll-up without looking clunky. Plus, it they got seriously filthy as I rode my bike. With that said, they’re very comfortable, but hardly the look I was hoping for. I’ve worn swrve, Rapha, Levi commuters, and others...was looking for something a bit different. Well, I got different! Maybe I’ll get used to them, but I can’t see using these for riding.
I've had a pair of Club Ride's Shift Jeans for a few years now and they have been my go-to pair of jeans in my wardrobe. I finally decided to order a new pair, and decided to give these (the Cog Jean) a try as well while I was at it. I like that they are available in the Indigo (the Cog is not). The fit is a bit more slim that the Cog, but the legs are SUPER long, like 4 or 5 inches too long (even with rolling up the cuff to where I like them). I like the fit and look enough though that I'm going to have them altered/shortened so I can wear them.
Great fitting jeans. Fav ones to wear on the beer bike.
I have two pairs of Cog Jeans and have been wearing them ALOT over the last two years and they are still holding up great! I have mountain biked in them, been on fancy dates in them, gone to meetings in them, I LOVE these jeans! The small amount of stretch these jeans have and gusseted crotch make them really comfortable. Thanks Club Ride for continuing to make them!
I love these jeans.
