Looking for a chamois underwear liner for all day use? The Woodchuck has changed the chamois game with its gel insert technology and 3D foam construction. From huge days of single track adventures in Fruita or Moab, to epic Gravel Adventures in Kansas, the Woodchuck is a perfect chamois to have in your quiver. At the Sun Valley office, we like it for the all day adventure of Osberg Ridgeline Trail back to town.
Our Design crew developed the ultra breathable RideTech mesh fabric to be soft and comfy, wicking and quick dry, so go ahead and push it to the limits of physical use.

The 3 hour ride time is a rating scale to be compared only against the other Club Ride chamois. We use it to best describe the thickness of the chamois inside the brief. That said, the triple density chamois is male gender specific and the tech gel inserts provide the highest level of comfort in the saddle.

Good pad & material but a flaw

I'm 178 lbs, 33/34 waist, and 5'11. The large was way too loose in the waist. The Medium fits well, the pad is quite good, and the material is cool. However, the waistband sits too low. It is lower any shorts waistband I have and I use several. It then rides down as you get in the seated position, obviously. I bought three since I'll make do, but the rear part of the waistband needs to be a bit higher. Maybe by 2-3 inches.

So far, so good

I did a 2 hour ride and a 4 hour ride and I'm very pleased with the performance after both rides especially the longer ride because it was a hot day.

I originally ordered a medium which were way too tight on my thick thighs. Ordered the large which did the trick. It’s a little odd as I wear a medium in Club Ride shorts but whatever works I’m fine with. The chamois feels great all over but especially around the waist as it doesn’t have the thick extra tight waist band most chamois have that can feel like they’re squeezing your guts out over time. This chamois is meant for longer rides and as such has somewhat of a gel like feel to the padding. It’s not bad like gel chamois I’ve tried and hated in the past. Just something I barely noticed at the beginning of the first ride I used them on.

Great fit during the ride

The longer inseam makes this my go to for riding. The legs do not bunch up during the ride - resulting in a comfortable experience.
