M's Daniel Flannel
In the Wild West gunslingers played with pistols to find out who was the down-right baddest hombre in town, there was the victory and the unfortunate loser. This hombre flannel takes that competition to a less serious outcome but still honors the tradition of being the best flannel in town. Built with stretch for movement, quick dry and wicking fabrics to keep you warm and comfy during activity and looks, well maybe not to die for. Named after Daniel our Marketing guy it has no match as the best hombre “flannel” in town!
Laid back style in a midweight flannel. Subtle features like snap buttons and underarm mesh panels make this a functional shirt on and off the bike.
It also has a soft, brushed texture that’s, well, more like flannel. I’ve only gotten a few rides in with the Daniel, but so far I really like it. It offers a good combination of warmth and breathability, which is often a tough balance. I’ve found it to be best suited for temps hovering in the upper 40s to mid-50s when used with a thin merino base layer. As for packability, the men’s medium rolls up and compresses into the size of a small cantaloupe.
My style preferences trend more towards casual than performance but it’s always great when I find a piece of clothing that combines both casual aesthetics with performance features. Club Ride’s Daniel flannel does just that by pairing technical fabrics and features with a sleek, tailored flannel design.
This is my go-to shirt and Jersey for a variety of riding temperatures and wearing around town. It's a pretty athletic cut that isn't too baggy but it's just right. I'm 5'9 and 180 and wear a medium.
Awesome flannel shirt, will be my go to for cool/cold mtb riding. Rode yesterday in the 30’s and was plenty warm with a thin wicking tee underneath, probably didn’t need the tee. Was warm but didn’t get sweaty wet, good venting under the arms and using the snaps, snaps make it easy to adjust. Quality looks to be great on par other Club Ride items. Look and fit is awesome, have worn the shirt out in a casual environment. Would highly recommend.
This is my second flannel from CR. First was the Shaka and then I wanted one a little heavier so I got the Daniel. They seem the same to me regarding warmth while riding. I have quite a few CR ss shirts and I have always sized by my own method. If the shirt says sport fit I order XL and if it is comfort fit I order L. I used the same method with the flannel, but it didn't work as well. The Daniel says comfort fit so I ordered L and it seems a little tight in the chest. All good though, I still like it.
Perfect fall riding shirt! The cut on it is great even with having wide shoulders and a narrow waist. It stretches just enough and is bomb proof! I took a spill and landed on my elbow. The shirt protected me from busting up my arm and had no damage to it. Very stylish as well. So much that I have bought it in many colors. LOVE Club Ride gear!
Love this shirt. Fits well. I'm 6-2, 200lbs and wear a large. It is not too tight and still long enough. Love the fabric. Soft, seems to keep me the perfect temp in a range of conditions and its synthetic so it dries quickly and stays warm when wet. That's important in the northwest and its hard to find stylish flannels that aren't cotton. I will wear this shirt for everything, dinner, skiing, mtb etc. Its a great all arounder.
